1. Data Controller and Operator

Klynt (klynt.space) is operated by Siddharth Sharma, an individual founder based in Noida, India. We are committed to transparency and privacy for independent freelancers and their clients.

2. Information We Collect

  • Account information: email address and name provided upon signup or authentication.
  • Usage data: essential error logs and page visits needed to maintain platform stability.
  • Payment credentials: we never store raw client credit card numbers. When freelancers connect Stripe or PayPal, API credentials are encrypted at rest using AES-256.
  • Project deliverables and metadata: project milestones, client names, invoice items, and files uploaded to your portals.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To operate, maintain, and deliver the Klynt client portal platform.
  • To send transactional emails (welcome emails, milestone notifications, and invoice receipts).
  • We never sell, rent, or monetize your personal or client data to advertisers or third parties.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely in Supabase (managed PostgreSQL database and S3-backed storage hosted in AWS regions). Sensitive gateway keys are stored encrypted using AES-256-CBC.

5. Sub-processors and Third-Party Infrastructure

We work with trusted infrastructure providers to run Klynt:

  • Supabase: Managed database and encrypted file storage (AWS infrastructure).
  • Vercel: Application hosting and serverless edge delivery.
  • Resend: Transactional email delivery service.
  • Dodo Payments: Merchant of record for Klynt subscription billing (Pro and Studio).
  • Stripe & PayPal: Direct payment gateways configured by freelancers for client invoices (Klynt never escrows these funds).

7. Cookies & Tracking

We use only essential session cookies required for authentication and account security. We do not use third-party advertising trackers or invasive tracking cookies.

8. Data Subject Rights

Regardless of your geography, you have the right to:

  • Request a copy of your personal data.
  • Request correction or deletion of your account and associated portals.
  • Export your invoice history and client records from your account settings.

9. Data Retention

Active account data is stored for the lifespan of your account. When you cancel or delete your account, your data is retained for a 60-day recovery window before permanent deletion.
