Terms of Service — Klynt

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Klynt (klynt.space), operated by Siddharth Sharma (Noida, India) ("we", "us", or "Klynt"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Description of Service
Klynt is a client portal and lightweight management platform for freelancers and designers. We provide tools to manage client portals, invoices, files, milestones, and deliverable approvals.
3. Account Registration
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
4. Payments and Billing
Klynt offers a free plan and paid subscription plans billed monthly via Dodo Payments. Paid plans are billed in advance. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your billing settings.
5. Client Payments (BYOG)
Klynt's Bring Your Own Gateway feature allows freelancers to connect their own Stripe or PayPal accounts. Klynt does not process, hold, escrow, or take commission on client payments. All transactions and disputes are directly between the freelancer and their client or payment processor.
6. Sub-processors and Infrastructure
Klynt relies on verified third-party service providers: Supabase (database and file storage hosted on AWS infrastructure), Vercel (application hosting and serverless execution), Resend (transactional email delivery), Dodo Payments (subscription billing), and Stripe/PayPal (when connected by a freelancer for invoice settlement).
8. Data and Privacy
We collect and store data as described in our Privacy Policy. You retain all ownership rights to the content, branding, and deliverables you upload to Klynt.
9. Acceptable Use
You may not use Klynt for illegal activities, spam, harassment, malware distribution, or any purpose violating applicable laws. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.
10. Service Availability
We aim for high availability but do not provide an enterprise SLA or guarantee uninterrupted service during early access. We are not liable for downtime or data loss caused by factors beyond our reasonable control.
11. Data Retention
Upon account cancellation, your data remains accessible during any soft-lock grace window (up to 60 days) to allow file export. Afterward, data is permanently removed.
12. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may cancel your account at any time from billing settings.
13. Limitation of Liability
Klynt is provided as-is during early access. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
14. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Noida, India.
15. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Continued use of the service after updates constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
